whats going on with the Hollywood Racing league, Im really looking forward to this racing to pit my skills against the likes of “The Battering Ram” and JDFC…….

Forza Forza Forza????

All this HRL, and Forza talk is sickening.  There must be another game that requires shooting people in the face that everyone can play……………….besides GTA4.  I’m almost done with Ninja Gaiden 2, so as soon as I’m done with that I’ll be looking for another new game.  I was thinking Unreal, since that somes out um today I think, or soon at least.  Dont know if it would be worth it, but would like some feedback on that.  Anyways, I like the reference to Tha CEO, in your Hollywood JDFC Sidelined Update, makes me happy to see you guys want to lose to me in racing games too.  Raven I’ve heard about your Forza skills and it made me laugh.  Juan I understand why you go by John now.  John Clark sounds a lot more redneck than Juan Clark.  MrNicola I got a question for you about Forza.  Does Val sit shotgun while you race to make sure you dont go over the speed limit?  And Vike Jr………well I wont even waste time typing something funny about you.  Just wondering how much weight reduction needs to be done to your car to make sure you make it under the max driver/car weight limit.  OUCH!!!!! Anyways if you got that copy of Forza still Juan, I’ll take it and start learning it.  Not a huge fan of racing games with controllers, but am willing to learn since I now play COD4 by my F-in self.  See you at the tracks…….ladies.

Start of the Season

Looks like the week of the 23rd is upon us and the new racing season is about to begin for the hollywood Clan….looking forward to seeing u guys in my rear view mirror…lol

Hollywood Racing League Preview – Revved Reviews!!!

SoCal, CA – The atmosphere was electric as the crowd waited in anticipation for the a preview of the inaugural Hollywood Racing League season. “They’re sooooooo fast!” exclaimed Jimmy Jay, a local  race fan in attendance. “Go Battering Ram Goooo!!!!” he yelled out as he wore his Battering Ram Mad Vikejr t-shirt and hat shaped like a modern version of a medeival ram used to break through palace gates. “Battering Ram” lived up every bit to his name by splintering the Carbon Fiber, fiber glass and plastic, and sheet metal that the other racers cars colorfull shells are made of.

The season is only days away and each team is currently making some final tweaks to their circuit cars. Stay posted for more information as the inagural HRL season nears!

BTW – I have an extra copy of Forza now. If anyone is interested, let me know. Would prefer to get it to someone who would be joining our league…. ahem Jimmy Jay… ahem.

My tires are flat and my M16 is jammed. For I have been struck by the Red Ring of Death, NOOOOOOOO!!!!!

 

HRL pre-season series heating up!!!

MadVikejr, driver for  Monster Energy Racing took the podium following Monday nights Hollywood Racing League preseason session and quickly became furious at a bump that he received from MrNicola during the first lap of a 4 lap race. Entering the 4th turn at the Mugello – Short Race way MrNicola entered the turn early, wound up hitting the grass and tried to correct himself. Once his Ferrari caught traction, he was propelled back onto the track and had to correct his entry back onto the raceway. From viewing the replay it was clear that MrNicola properly corrected himself, but unintentionally bumped MadVikejr’s R4 Impreza.

MadVikejr was unable to see MrNicola’s Ferrari re-entering the track and was accelerating through the turn when he received the nudge that sent him sliding through the dirt and into the tire barracade. Once the dust settled, MadVikejr went on a verbal tirade, and was fined an undisclosed amount by the HRL for his unsportsmanlike remarks.

One thing is for sure, as the HRL series nears, things are heating up and this will surely be a season to remember. Be sure to stay tuned for more information on the upcoming season as it becomes available.

The HRL is still open for registration and welcomes all entrants. Registration ends on June 22nd, with the first races of the season starting the week of the 23rd!!! More details to come.
